This is the NEA's manifesto.

This manifesto belongs to all those who want a positive change to take place in the fashion system.
Wouldn't the world be a better place with a fair, equal system that empowers people well as workers and as customers?
We aim to create a range of shared values with all players in the fashion industry but we can't do it alone.
We need to stand together and we need YOU to join us on this journey.

 

1 – For us, you are not just a customer; you are your own person with your personality, your individuality, and your beautiful uniqueness. We want you to be a part of what we're doing and respect and understand your necessity to be you! We hope to build a community, to create a new type of connection between responsible, conscious humans. We want a real exchange of ideas and views via a direct relationship with our customers and we want to create a culture that transforms the way we consume fashion.

2 – Create awareness towards overconsumption - buy well, shop less.
The choices you make can have a positive difference. We are guilty of purchasing items that have a short life span, that is unable to be put back into the supply chain or be recycled. We need to increase the level of consciousness about what and where we are buying from every day. Embrace the real way to live. We choose to use natural fibers because they are better for the environment, farmers, producers and finally, you the wearer.

 3 – Every day be you

Be comfortable in your body, be proud of who you are, be who you want to be in the world. You deserve to be respected and represented the way you want to be. Your strength is something to be celebrated and encouraged. Beauty is not one-dimensional.

4 - Be Just
We stand for fair treatment and opportunity for all our brothers and sisters in this world and we want to ensure that whoever is involved in the process of creating NEA stands by this.

 

5 – We love what we do
And we want to constantly improve and expand our limits. We take time to create something that is consciously viable, the lasts and most importantly something that you'll love.

6 – We have to slow down
The fashion industry is one of the largest industrial polluters in the world. We are going to do our best to ensure our environmental footprint is the smallest it can be. We claim transparency, sustainability, and ethics and we need to spread the word about how we need to positivity impact and save our planet. Be aware, mindful and responsible.

9 – Strength in design
Design is very powerful and we have plans to create the highest design into every element of NEA alongside creating something ethical, fair and beautiful.

10 – This Manifesto is an open project!
This is the first edition, we plan to constantly change, enrich and develop. We also are keen to keep our customers at the forefront of our development so if you have comments, critiques or something to add you are more than welcome to contact us.
